LIV 2025 Legal Sector Dinner

On 28 August 2025, the team at Melbourne Lawyers and Mediators had the privilege of attending the Law Institute of Victoria’s 2025 Legal Sector Dinner, held at Zinc at Federation Square.

The evening commenced with a powerful Welcome to Country delivered by Murrindindi, whose address was both insightful and deeply engaging. The Hon. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Richard Niall, delivered an inspiring keynote speech, recognising the vital, everyday contributions lawyers make to their communities, and emphasising the importance of embracing and celebrating diversity within the profession.

The event provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our shared achievements and to connect with legal professionals from across Victoria in a spirit of celebration and collegiality.
