Layal has completed an undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Legal & Dispute Studies with Distinction and completed the Juris Doctor at RMIT University. Upon her admission into the legal practice, Layal has hit the ground running and has worked primarily in divorce and separation, criminal law, including Intervention Orders, personal injury and superannuation claims. Layal appears regularly in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Magistrates Courts across Victoria.
Outside of her contributions to the legal profession, Layal is an active member of her community having been Sponsorship Officer at the Islamic Society of RMIT University where she was leading the sponsorship team in organising fundraisers and events that invited and celebrated the wider community. Layal’s outstanding care and compassion allows her to provide her clients with the necessary support and assistance they need in their stressful and vulnerable situations. Layal is able to communicate with a diverse range of clients in an efficient, diligent, and kind manner. She strives to deliver the best outcome for her clients by providing them with accurate, clear and trustworthy assistance and advice
